Archive for January, 2013

I asked the team to share their New Years resolutions for 2013 and below is the Facebook thread on which Stylists declared their personal and business goals. I am posting it here — gasp! publicly! — because I want to remind you all of your dreams and help inspire you. When you’re feeling down, or when that phone is feeling heavy, come back to this and re-read your “why” and grab some inspiration to keep yourself going. Sometimes the days are long, but we know the years are short. Before we know it, we will be dancing at Hoopla in Vegas! But right now, we need to take it step by step, day by day, little by little. I promise that these smalls actions will help you achieve great things.

So next month… And the month after that… And the month after that… Check in here to this blog post to re-inspire yourself and re-ignite your fire.

Leave a comment below to encourage all your teammates to push toward their goals… As you are pushing toward your own. 🙂

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

  • Cindy Schulman Entin My goal is to hit $1500 every month this year so I can get my extra 5%!! : )
  • Jessica Burkard
As a new stylist, last July I set a goal to sell $5000 in total retail for 2012, allowing me 6 months to do so. I nearly doubled that goal through trunk shows alone, so to challenge myself I now aim to do $5000 every three months by developing new ways to reach people! One way I’m going to get there is through styling — a couple co-workers of mine have asked me to be their personal shopper/stylist. Part of my shtick is to re-vamp their wardrobe, and then host a Stella party for them to earn the accessories for their new look for free! Another friend of mine owns a fitness clothing boutique — we’re going to host an event together to reach women who want to be beautiful on the inside and out. Looking forward to the next few months — and what new and fun challenges 2013 will bring!
  • Kim Kessler Consistently have 2-3 shows per month as well as sponsor 2 women by March. Also have an average of $1500+ per show.

Ohhh, what a year it was! I think this year has been full of amazing moments, and I’m grateful to be a part of Stella & Dot — and grateful to have gotten to know YOU — this year! Thank you all for making this job so special and helping to create a culture of positivity, support and respect.

We all are good as individuals, but together, we are GREAT! Case in point: Together our team sold $1,289,732.20 in jewelry this year. That’s over $1.2 MILLION dollars in sales! Isn’t that amazingly, wonderfully, incredibly terrific! You should be soooo proud of yourselves!

So proud of you and love you lots!
